Dear Valued Customer:
In June, I announced EDR’s commitment to provide you with the highest quality information by investing $3.2 million in our historical sources collections over the next three years. At that time, I also unveiled the EDR City Directory Super Library with two game changing deals:
- An exclusive agreement with Haines & Company to acquire the entire Haines Corporate collection. This gives EDR the right to reproduce Haines’ copyrighted material and pass those rights on to you. The Haines collection includes over 3,000 historical city directories that cover several decades.
- An exclusive agreement with Cole Information Company to license Cole’s copyrighted material and pass those rights on to you. The Cole’s electronic database contains over 2 billion city directory records.
I’m happy to report that we have implemented both of these collections into our systems. When you order from us today, the City Directory product will be superior to anything that has ever been available in our industry.
We’ve also made significant investments in our historical aerial photography collection, bringing us ever closer to our goal of bringing you the highest quality set of photos available on every single order. Over the next few months, we will be launching new collections almost every week. In fact, we plan to double our aerial photo collection over the next year!
The EDR team is working hard behind the scenes in many ways to deliver the highest quality information to you. We hope that the latest improvements have already impacted you and your business in a positive way. Should you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to contact me or any member of the EDR team.
